Wide-spread consumption of contaminated drinking water and lack of access to affordable, easy-to-use water treatment technology affects up to 38 percent of rural households in Bangladesh. In order to address the problems, USAID’s Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activity is partnering with Folia Bangladesh Limited to stimulate demand for Folia’s simple and affordable microbial water treatment solution. This activity will enable an estimated 10,125 beneficiaries to have increased access to safe drinking water.
